1. What are the prerequisites for starting a Drip Campaign?

To start a Drip Campaign effectively, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

  • The Drip Campaign option must be activated in SMS Settings > General Settings > Drip Campaigns.
  • The email address and phone number must be included in the records for which the Drip Campaign is being launched.
  • Scheduled tasks must be operational; otherwise, the Drip Campaign will be unsuccessful.

2. How to create drip SMS campaigns?

Access the Drip Campaigns Section

  • Click on Drip Campaign to view the list of existing campaigns.
  • Click Create new drip to initiate a new campaign.

Fill in Required Details: On the campaign creation page, provide

  • Name: Title of the SMS Drip Campaign.
  • Brief Description: A short summary of the campaign.
  • Object: Select the Standard or Custom Object to which the campaign applies.
  • Status: Choose whether the campaign is active or inactive.

Saving Options: After filling in all the details, choose to click

  • Save
  • Cancel

3. Running Drip Campaign in One-to-One Messaging

Using Drip Campaigns in One-to-One Messaging allows you to engage individual leads directly from the chat interface. Here’s how to execute a Drip Campaign on a specific record:

  • Open the Record: Navigate to the One-to-One Chat section and locate the specific record you want to engage with.
  • Initiate Drip Campaign Selection: Click on the + icon in the SMS Palette or chat console.
  • Select Drip Campaign: From the dropdown menu, choose the Drip Campaign you want to execute. The available campaigns for that particular object will be displayed.
  • Start Drip Campaign: After selecting the Drip Campaign, click on Start to begin running the campaign for this record.

4. Running Drip Campaign via Bulk List View

The Bulk List View option allows you to send Drip Campaign messages to multiple records simultaneously, ideal for larger audiences.

  • Select Records: Go to the List View of records (e.g., Leads or Contacts) and select the records you want to engage with.
  • Open Drip Campaign Feature: Once records are selected, click on the + icon at SMS Palette to locate the Drip Campaign option.
  • Choose Drip Campaign: Select the Drip Campaign from the dropdown that corresponds to the chosen records’ object type.
  • Start Bulk SMS: Click to initiate the Drip Campaign, and the system will send the messages in bulk based on the pre-configured schedule and settings of the Drip Campaign.

This method enables efficient communication to a large group, ensuring all recipients receive consistent and scheduled messages.

5. Running Drip Campaign via Bulk Campaign

Using the Bulk Campaign feature is effective when you have a segmented group of leads or contacts already organized into a campaign.

  • Create or Select a Campaign: Go to the Leads or Contacts tab. Select the records you want to add to a campaign, then click on Add to Campaign. You can either add records to an existing campaign or create a new one.
  • Navigate to Campaign Bulk SMS Tab: After creating the campaign, go to the Campaign Bulk SMS tab.
  • Choose Campaign and Drip Campaign: Once records are selected, click on the + icon at SMS Palette to locate the Drip Campaign option. Select your campaign from the list, and it will display all the records within the campaign. Choose the Drip Campaign you want to run for this particular campaign.
  • Execute the Drip Campaign: After selecting the Drip Campaign, click on Start to launch it across all the records within the campaign.

6. Running Drip Campaign via Bulk Report

Bulk Report is an efficient option for running Drip Campaigns on records derived from customized reports, ensuring that the messaging aligns with specific data-driven segments.

  • Prepare the Report: From the App Launcher, search for Reports and create a new report that includes all the records you want to target. Ensure the report contains the required columns, such as Lead ID, and any relevant filters to narrow down your audience. Save and run the report.
  • Go to Report Bulk SMS Tab: After saving your report, go to the Report Bulk SMS tab.
  • Select Report and Drip Campaign: Locate and select your report from the dropdown. Once records are selected, click on the + icon at SMS Palette to locate the Drip Campaign option. Choose the specific Drip Campaign that applies to the records listed in your report.
  • Initiate Drip Campaign: Once selected, click on Start to begin the Drip Campaign for all records in the report.
